Sometimes potty training really young puppies is like being a Catcher. They’ve just finished eating, and the first puppy starts to wonder away from Mom sniffing the floor. You know the drill. Pick her up and put her into the potty area. Success! She piddles right where she’s supposed to. Unfortunately, while congratulating yourself on the success of the first one, three more have just “gone†right behind you and one is trying to poop half way onto the potty area and half way out!
The good news is, eventually they will get it. For now it really takes 2 of us cleaning, giving each pup a chance at success, and catching the “foulâ€.
